Older commercial buildings in the GTA can contain designated substances such as asbestos, lead and mercury. Before demolition starts, the building owner is required to identify these materials. When asbestos is present, Demstos can complete the asbestos abatement before demolition, so you deal with one contractor instead of coordinating two. When the scope reaches into slabs, walls or structure, we also provide concrete cutting and core drilling and selective structural demolition.

It depends on the size of the space, what is being removed, building access and working hours, and whether hazardous materials are present. We give a fixed written quote after a site walk, so you know the number before work starts.
Can you work nights or weekends?
Yes. Many office and retail buildings require noisy work outside business hours, and we schedule crews around those rules.
Do I need an asbestos survey before interior demolition?
For older buildings, the owner must identify designated substances such as asbestos before the work is tendered. If you don’t have a survey, ask us and we can help you understand what is needed. If asbestos is found, we can remove it before demolition starts.
Do you remove the debris?
Yes. Debris removal and bin management are part of our scope, and we leave the space broom-clean.
